No complaints whatsoever, awesome stay for one night. Clean small hotel with kind and informative staff. Exceptionally comfortable bed, wonderful bathroom and a mini refrigerator, a kettle, and an iron in the room. Excellent, ideal location near centre. The lounge restaurant with very good hearty Southland food.

Location next to Invercargill:, and Stewart island. Fabulous food in the in-house restaurant in the vicinity.

Not very good views from the window.

It was a very nice stay for one night. The restaurant here was nice for dinner, we both ordered outstanding dishes. Enjoyed the downstairs bar.

Views appeared to be not so good.

We had a great stay at the pub with personality. The hosts, Rose and Tom, were so welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the bar, with a short menu featuring fresh seafood. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. we highly recommend this hotel for a unique and enjoyable experience.

Trudy and Eian have made a wonderful job of restoring this beautiful building. They were very welcoming, and Eian took charge of my baggage on arrival and took it to our room. The room was double aspect, with comfortable seating and a modern bathroom. We enjoyed a drink before dinner in their cosy bar where you can talk to other guests, and Eian prepared a freshly cooked dinner for us which was delicious. Breakfast offered a good choice of fruit and cereals and a freshly cooked breakfast of your choice. Nothing was too much trouble. Don't miss out on the opportunity to stay a night here.

    Nothing to find fault with.

The bed was really comfortable and we had a great night's sleep, the host was very friendly, and the fact that they offered free parking was a nice bonus, definitely worthy of its 4-star rating.

It was in the central location in the centre of invercargill. Besides, we where just off Stewart Island ferry terminal, shops and dining and an Invercargill landmark.

The hotel is modern, nestled in a classic old building in the centre of the city. The staff are amazingly nice and very pleasant, we thoroughly enjoyed them. The location is great, relatively close to Civic Theatre. The downstairs bar makes the cold drinks😃

Its location within walking distance of Otepuni Gardens was absolutely perfect.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, close to the main street, many restaurants, and downtown attractions. Despite its proximity to railway tracks and an ugly abandoned station, the rooms are surprisingly quiet and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and well-equipped, with great water pressure and heated towels. The friendly hosts provide excellent service, offering guests important information about the area and serving delicious cooked breakfasts. The hotel also has free parking and a laundry room for guests.

The hotel lacks an onsite restaurant for evening meals on certain nights of the week.
